1. Payment methods
Online payments are processed through Pesapal. Guests can typically pay with M-Pesa or card on the Pesapal checkout page. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
2. Pricing shown before checkout
The amount at checkout is the hire price for the bikes and the time you selected. Forest entrance is not included. We do not add a transaction charge on top of that price. If the page says KES 650, you authorise KES 650.
Kenya Forest Service entrance is separate from the booking and is not sold on this checkout. You pay it at the gate. See the Karura Forest entrance fee page.
3. When payment confirms the booking
Successful payment moves your booking toward confirmed status. Failed, abandoned or cancelled payments may leave the booking in checkout or cancelled state until you complete payment or contact us for help.
4. Failed payments
If payment fails, email bookings@karurabikes.co.ke with your name and preferred date so we can help you complete checkout.
5. Refunds
A refund follows the Booking and Refund Policy, section 5. We send the amount we received, less 5% for the average online transaction cost. You bear that cost. The checkout price itself does not include an extra 5% line. Approved refunds go back through the original payment channel where possible.
